Undergraduate Researcher
Biography:
Matthew is pursuing a Bachelors of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering. He is originally from Marietta, Georgia. In his free time he enjoys riding and repairing bicycles, gardening, and reading.
Research:
Matthew is working with Bailey Hannon to characterize the effects of genipin-induced scleral stiffening as a glaucoma treatment. He is currently validating automated methods for whole optic nerve axon counting.
Fun Fact:
Matthew is a radio operator at WREK Atlanta!
