Undergraduate Researcher
Biography:
Alex is pursuing a Bachelors of Science degree in biomedical engineering along with the research option. She is from north of Boston and loves cooking, water polo, crime shows, and black coffee.
Research:
Alex is currently working with Tom on the cryostat and microtome. They prepare and section samples for imaging, and review the samples for morphology. Alex is also continuing to work with Eric on developing a method of protein quantification that normalizes to total protein presence. The two are currently in the writing process, and hope to submit for publication in the near future.
