Arslan Zahid

MD/ MSCR Student

Biography: Arslan is originally from Valdosta, GA. He received B.A.s in History and Biology from the University of Virginia in 2015. Arslan is currently a dual degree M.D./Master of Science in Clinical Research (MSCR) student at the Emory University School of Medicine, anticipating graduation in 2020, and will subsequently enter medical residency.

Research: Characterizing the pathophysiology of spaceflight associated neuroocular syndrome (SANS) under the supervision of Dr. Oshinski and Dr. Ethier. Arslan is also conducting research at Emory University in the Department of Surgery.
Fun Fact: Arslan speak four languages (English, Punjabi, Urdu, French in order of proficiency).
