Eric Snider, PhD

Biography:
Eric received his BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in May 2012. He conducted research on utilizing microfluidic reactors and heterogeneous catalysts for biodiesel production in completion of his undergraduate honors thesis. Eric joined the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University in August 2012 and is a former NSF graduate research fellow. Eric has recently received his PhD in Biomedical Engineering.
Research:
Eric is investigating stem cell therapies for regenerating trabecular meshwork cells, as a treatment for primary open-angle glaucoma.
Fun Fact:
Eric TA’ed in Ireland in Summer 2015.
