Masters Student
Biography:
Johan is a French student visiting the Ethier lab for nine months. His home school in France is the Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay where he still needs to do one year to complete his master degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Research:
He is working on Liz’s project about the influence of mechanical surroundings on astrocytes. He is building a new bioreactor for cyclic compression and trying to characterize the mechanical behaviour of some hydrogels.
Fun Fact:
Johan is going to take a gap year at the end of his intership at the Ethier lab to travel all around the world with three friends.
