Masters Student
Biography:
Su received her BS in Biomedical Engineering from Baskent University in Turkey in June 2016. She has graduated as valedictorian of her department and conducted research on laser speckle contrast imaging for her thesis project. During her bachelors, she has interned at GE Healthcare and Carl Zeiss Meditec AG in Turkey. Su is currently a second year masters student in Biomedical Engineering Department at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. She joined the Ethier lab in August 2017 as a visiting scholar and she is currently working on her masters thesis.
Research:
Building individual specific finite element models of glaucomatous rat optic nerve heads to better understand the effects of glaucomatous damage and remodeling on rat ONH biomechanics.
Fun Fact:
Su loves animals, playing piano and traveling.
